Mysore City\u2019s first \u201cSnow City Theme Park\u201d was inaugurated on 14 April 2019 by a member of the erstwhile Mysuru royal family Pramoda Devi Wadiyar.<\/p>\n

The Snow City has come up in Nazarbad at the Regency Theatre on Lokranjan Mahal Road near Mysuru Zoo that has been converted to hold the new setup. The Regency Theatre has been completely refurbished and the whole structure resembles the Kremlin, a fortified complex at the heart of Moscow, the capital of Russia overlooking the Moskva River.<\/p>\n

The erstwhile royal family of Mysuru owns the land of Regency Theatre and the promoters of Snow City have come to an understanding with the royal family to set up the new facility.<\/p>\n

During today\u2019s inauguration, for the first time, the temperature hit a low of minus six degrees while the temperatures at similar snow cities are usually maintained at minus four to five degrees.\"Snow<\/p>\n

The Snow City will offer an experience in snowballing, mountain climbing, snow jumping, sliding, sledding, dancing, snow skiing, and snow sliding along with DJ music in an area of 10,000 square feet. There are a selfie spot and a waterfall at the entrance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
